The holidays may be over, but you can still hang on to those festive feelings with a trip to the New York Botanical Garden’s Holiday Train Show. Each year the creators assemble together a month and a half long extravagant feast for the eyes that appeals to all ages from the young to old. Intricately designed miniature models of New York city’s famous buildings are dispersed along the tracks of moving toy trains as viewers follow them from one display room to another. You can admire replicas of places such as New York Penn Station, Statue of Liberty, Channel Gardens at Rockefeller Center, Empire State Building, and other iconic wonders. Each of them exquisitely designed and created from all natural materials.
The show will be going into its last run for the season by the end of this weekend so if you are in the area, definitely make it a Must See on your travel itinerary! I highly suggests you order tickets in advanced online to save the trouble of waiting in person. All information links are provided after the photo jump.
